"A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, and returns home to find it."

A simple wedding, overflowing with love, and the laughter of a happy family. Words can not describe the happiness felt by the family and friends at Phil and Megan's wedding in Madison, WI.

Phil's Mom and Step-mom are the most adorable people I have ever seen together. They act like best friends and at one point even chanted together that "the Moms are in the house!" I could go on and on about the joy of this family and it was such a privilege to work with all of them.

The reception was absolutely gorgeous!!! You would never have guessed it was in the backyard of Phil's parents' house. Mini candy-filled jars, chocolate lady bugs, and hand picked daisies covered the tables. Adorable, colorful cupcakes, a gorgeous walk way with overgrown vines, and countless handmade cheesecakes! Yum! :) You could definitely tell that a lot of work went into this wedding and I am sure the entire family lended a helping hand.

Thank you for letting me part of your day and enjoy your sneak peek....at last!

This photo makes me think of the 50's when women wore heels while vacuuming.

Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true” ~Lyman Frank Baum

Jim and Emma's wedding day was one of the most beautiful days. The sky was a crisp dark blue with light fluffly clouds. A sky that makes you want to be a kid again and bounce from cloud to cloud.

I met the couple about two weeks prior to their wedding date. Talk about pressure! Jim actually called me from California in need of finding a photographer and FAST! I am always very impressed when the groom calls to set up the arrangements for their wedding. Definitely, a man I consider to be a "keeper." :) So with less than a week from their wedding, I met with Jim and his GORGEOUS fiance' Emma to set up the arrangements.

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay for their reception but thank goodness for second photographers. I would have loved to stay considering how sweet this couple was. You could definitely feel the love between them.

Jim and Emma's wedding was held at the Lussier Family Heritage Center in Madison, WI. It made for some amazing scenic photos. I hope you two enjoy your sneak peek....it was a great few hours I got to spend with you! :)

Here are those amazing blue skies...

Notice the small photo, it is Emma's grandma who passed away. What a great way to still have her with you on your wedding day.

Flip-Flops, Taste of Madison, Amazing Food, and Painkillers...

On Saturday, September 4th after photographing one wedding. I had to rush off to join Rob and Krystal at The Madison Club for my second wedding of the day.
Rob and Krystal's day was a little different though because I only had to photograph their reception. The two of them were lucky enough to get married in the Virgin Islands with a few close friends and family members. So now, I had the opportunity to join them for their amazing reception right by the capitol in Madison, WI. The reception was held at The Madison Club and I can not say enough about that gorgeous building and the accommodating people who work there. The food was amazing and the dancing was so much fun to watch!
We had to fight through a crowd (Taste of Madison) in order to get some pictures at the capitol but it was worth it. The weather was perfect, Rob and Krystal were relaxed and were willing to walk just about anywhere to get some fun photos. We even got the chance to take some by a Madison police car which I thought was perfect for the downtown area.
Thank you so much Rob and Krystal for letting me be part of your day....it was a BLAST!!!!!
Enjoy your sneak peak...

The Madison Club was filled with these gorgeous older rooms...loved the windows!

The best part about this photo, besides the fun vibe, is that the woman in blue is pregnant! What a fun mom she is going to be. :)
