Madison, WI Wedding Photographer

Cause I come alive with your touch
Your touch it always sets me free
I can't get quite enough
Too much of you is what I need
Yes I know you're the one

~ Johnny Lang, Touch ~

Have you ever seen two elderly people walking down the sidewalk, holding hands, and as they gaze up at one another you can tell, they have loved each other, "really" loved one another for many many years?
The first time I met Mark and Rachel this is exactly how the two of them looked at one another. At one point during our meeting together, Rachel said something which Mark then laughed at. Then Rachel looked a bit embarrassed and says to Mark "what?" he then looks at her with so much love in his eyes and says "nothing, you're just cute!" It was a simple remark but it is the little ones that say a lot! :)

The wedding was filled with so many of these great moments. The countless times Mark would simply touch Rachel, Mark's son's bow-ties would magically change colors throughout the day...SOO cute...Rachel's smile that can light up a room, and the sweetest mother-son dance I have ever seen.

What a great day! Thank you Mark and Rachel.

I love the innocence here. Everyone is doing a kick-line dance while this little boy plays with his toy truck.

Run away, find you a lover Go away somewhere bright and new I have seen no other Who compares with you. ~Tom Petty

I love, love, love a wedding filled with familiar faces. Not only did I get to photograph this wedding in my home town, Beloit but I also shared it with my family and some friends from back in the day.
I used to work with Mary back in my H.S. days. We both worked for my Mom (when it used to be called) at Rock Co. Tobacco Free Coalition. Mary and I spent hours driving around to different cities throughout Rock County and yes, we even tried to buy cigarettes together, while under-aged. ;) It was part of the job...I promise!
So trust me when I say, I was ecstatic to photograph Brad and Mary's wedding. :) The wedding was so adorable, filled with black polka dots and fun pin wheels. As well as, a first kiss that was completed with a step stool for the vertically challenged bride.
Then after the wedding, my second photographer and I drove Brad and Mary through some corn fields to find a covered bridge for some photos. Lets just say, corn fields make for an interesting maze. ;)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Mary and Brad for letting me be part of your awesome day. :)

This cake is simply fantastic.

A Giggle, A Curl....A Sweet Little Girl!

Babies. Perfect little babies! From the feeling of complete contentment while holding them in your arms, to run screaming down the road because you can't stop the crying.
Either way, their adorable little rolls and that sweet baby smell makes everything about them undeniably perfect.

I offered to do this photo shoot for one of my good friends as a gift for their new baby girl. Plus, it is a newbie and I can not pass that one up. So here she is...Meet Elizabeth! :)

"OK, Cupid" show me the way, I'm going to win someone's heart today.

The world of technology, oh, I how I love technology. Despite my extensive troubles with the new fangled gizmos and gadgets of the modern age. Andrew and Katy however, were lucky enough to find love through the internet and even better, a life long companion.

Andrew and Katy had their wedding at a beautiful park in Middleton, WI. It was a perfect setting for a simplistic wedding, filled with family, friends, yummy subs, and what better way to bring everyone together but with a good ol' game of bean bags.

Thank you for letting me be part of your day! :)
