Blue Eyed Beauties....

So some of you may remember Rudy and Jillian from a few months ago. I was lucky enough to photograph Carrie and Brant's adorable, blue-eyed children once again.
This time I met them at the Olbrich Gardens in Monona, WI. I absolutely love photographing at the Olbrich Gardens. It is a gorgeous place that offers beautiful photos year round.
The last time I met with the Brown Family, Rudy gave me a run for my money but this time he was full of smiles! Jillian, now 9 months old was also a blast to work with. Of course though, kids will be kids. Jillian got a little too close to the water fountain and poor Rudy had a tough time towards the end. The best part about it though, was it made for some very realistic photos. :) I LOVED it!!!
I can not wait until the next time I get to photograph this family and see how much their kids have grown.

Enjoy your sneak peek and THANK YOU again...

Jeff + Tricia = Married!!!

Brave, brave, brave souls Tricia and Jeff are. Jeff and Tricia were the very FIRST people to hire me as a wedding photographer and oddly enough, they were my last wedding to photograph for the year.

I could not have picked a better group of people to end my wedding year off with. Everyone was so down-to-earth, extremely easy to talk to, and I had a GREAT time with all of them.

Despite the cold and my awesome fingerless gloves, the wedding was absolutely gorgeous and the sun poked it's head out a few times.

The wedding was held at the Wilderness Golf resort in WI Dells and the reception was in the golf club. After the wedding was over, we took some outdoors photos with everyone and I have to say I have never seen a more helpful groom. We were preparing to take a photo by a small lake where the bride and groom would walk through a few weeded areas. Jeff walks ahead of Tricia, then he politely asks her to stop walking and clears her a path. Jeff then individually broke every weed that could have possibly snagged her dress, and we say chivalry is dead!

It sincerely was all my pleasure meeting the two of you and I am so happy you took a chance and hired me, knowing you were my firsts.

ENJOY your sneak peek!!!! :)

7 Horses, 5 Cats, 3 Dogs, Geese, and a partridge in a pear tree...

I met Amber and Raymond through a great friend of ours. It was back during our Platteville days. Amber’s daughter and mine used to play together too. So it was nice to be able to travel to a place filled with so many memories and familiar faces.

I met with Amber and her entire family at her parent’s farm. This house was so much fun and would be the perfect place to raise a large family. It was filled with several animals for the kids to chase around and some of the animals even joined in on the photo shoot.

What a perfect day to make the trip and photograph some old friends.
Enjoy your sneak peek!!!

And thank you for a house full of people I love. Amen.

What can I say about this photo-shoot? Probably, too many words so I will try to keep it short and sweet.
I was so excited when I was asked to photograph my MOST FAVORITE people in the world; my family. My brother, Steve and his family drove all the way from Milwaukee and my sister, Joni and her family came from Beloit to all meet in Sun Prairie, WI at Burke Park.
It was a gorgeous day out and perfect for some fun photographs of my siblings and their families. Plus, I even had the chance to take some challenging but adorable photos of my nephew, nieces, and my daughters. I could not have asked for a better photo-shoot. :)
So enjoy the sneak peek everyone...I Love you!!!

All of our beautiful kids together!

I'm on a Boat, I'm on a Boat, Everybody look at me. 'Cause I'm sailing on a Boat!

Chris and Nicole were the second couple to book a wedding with me, and what brave people they were.
When we met to go over the details of their wedding, I found out that I would also get the chance to join them on a boat ride through the Dells. As a kid, I believe I took the same boat tour about a dozen times but this time was definitely different. We stopped at an amazing rock formation with a small, wooden walk way that traveled throughout these formations. It was definitely a place a Wisconsinite would never want to miss.

The boat ride was amazing and the ceremony held its own unique events as well. The bride and groom had a coreographed first dance and it was adorable! Then, later in the evening Chris suprised everyone and sang a song in front of everyone for Nicole. I was so impressed, not only because this was the ultimate in romance but because his voice was very impressive!!!

Thank you for sharing your day with me Chris and Nicole...Enjoy your sneak peek!
